There were on two occasions cocaroaches in my bedroom. Almost daily, there would be lizards. There was an unidentified noise coming from the ceiling requiring me to relocate my room while animal control investigated. On the bright side, management was very understanding and accommodating for the inconvenience

The facilities were very nice, grounds and pool were beautiful and service was very good.

Spa was expensive. We would have liked to have the ability to refill water bottles instead of going out to buy water at the convenience mart.

Staff was friendly and the pool was nice- nice garden

Bathroom needs an urgent upgrade- also it was very easy to hear doors slamming and people yelling- breakfast options need rethinking.

Nice garden and pool, huge and relaxing traditionaly designed place. One bedroom appartment was huge and spacious, but furnishing out of date.

Breakfast just average, Restaurant same level and staff annoying time to time.

Pool had little shade

The staff, without exception were great, from front of house to gardening and housekeeping teams were always helpful and greeted you each time with a smile. I appreciated that the pool staff removed towels from lounges and tables as soon as someone left which discourages guests from 'reserving' lounges all day eventhough they may only use the spot for a short time. This is a big bugbear for lots of travellers... so well done Risata.

Different cultures are great to experience while travelling but it also brings with it different approaches to respecting other guests right to a positive experience too. Food handling by some guests who want to try a particular item and then put it back is not good hygiene practice. And speaking loudly/ shouting across rooms and public spaces is intrusive, so maybe a few 'think about others' reminders would help everyone to have a good holiday. Perhaps tour guides could also be engaged to pass on this important protocol to their patrons.

Always stay at Risatta…love the staff and the property…

Realise that many different cultures stay at Risatta….I visit Bali to experience the Indonesian foods and culture….Would like to see more Indonesian foods at breakfast…not Indian….one day I hope to visit India, for which I look forward to then tasting more of their foods…

Staff friendly

Amazing staff, always happy with smiling faces and always greeted us. Nice assortment of food, the chicken schnitzel baguette was a firm favourite.

There was nothing to dislike.

Staff is good, location is good and near to beach, surrounding got many convenience shops, massage and spa, restaurants and warung

Tv so old, should change to smart TV and light is abit dark

Staff were pleasant and obliging. Setting was pleasant and the pool was good.

On several nights there was very loud music until late.

Property was easy access to the centre of Kuta and the beach. Close to Airport also

Was given a room that was also a split room. Very noisy with next room due to shared door

The Risata Bali resort and staff are just amazing, beautiful people who take the time to say hello and get to know you personally. They are all so helpful and always have a smile. The rooms were very spacious and clean with lovely views of the lush greenery of the tropical plants. The resort has a lovely tropical feel to it The pool area was great and relaxing. The buffet food for breakfast was very delicious, I chose the Indian cuisine option most days as it was excellent and the freshly cooked eggs your way each day was sensational. Transport from the airport and back was a great service along with the late check-out and still using the facilities and waiting lobby prior to leaving for the airport. A few minutes walking distance to Jerman beach was great and a 15 min walk along the beach walk pathway to Kuta beach and shopping centre was a lovely stroll. A few great little places to eat and have massages very close by. A tip: the ATM right next to the Risata was excellent for taking out cash and a very good exchange rate. I wouldn't bother exchanging too much cash in Australia or at the Airport, as this ATM was a much higher rate without getting ripped off in Australia or the Airport. A cross from the Risata is also a mini mart which was very handy. The day spa at the Risata was also amazing!! I booked a three hour pamper session prior to leaving for the airport! This was an amazing way to end my journey in Bali! A two hour: foot soak, full body massage and scrub, a facial and then one hour hair nourishment treatment which was sensational and made my hair so soft and smooth. A wonderful experience. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. Only ten minutes from the airport and away from the crowds in kuta itself which was nice to be in a more quiet area.

Perfect location to the airport. Booked as a hotel before flying out but both said we wished we had stayed a little longer as it was a brilliant hotel with fantastic facilities!

Staff as usual are amazing, hotel is unfortunately becoming a bit dated and in need of renovations but non the less is suitable. Pool is huge, the grounds and gardens are spectacular, you wouldn't know you are 50 meter's from a main street. Once you step passed the Foyer you step into a tropical oasis. we have stayed multiple times over the past 6 years and enjoy every visit

Unfortunately the Risata attracts a large contingency of RUDE , Arrogant Indian clientele whom treat all guests and staff with disrespect. Only advantage is after bfast they leave the hotel and do tours all-day. If it wasn't for this we wouldn't stay at Risata at all !
